Children are a gift and a blessing from God!
“People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Mark 10:13-16
Children may be loud, messy, and stubborn, but they are also deeply loved. They represent our future, and their laughter, artwork on the refrigerator, and cheerful singing off-key fill our hearts with joy. We warmly invite your little ones to join us during our worship services. We understand that parents sometimes need their own space to worship, pray, and praise. Should you need this, our attendants are ready to care for your children in the cry room, where you can still see them as you participate in the service. It's a wonderful compromise!
Our attendants are all background checked.
“Suffer the children to come unto me”. Luke 18:16
The saying “It takes a village to raise a child” has never been more true.
We at the First Presbyterian Church, do all we can to help those in need, especially children. We know we cannot meet all the needs by ourselves. The following is a list of agencies with whom we work or to whom we donate financial resources.
